Terms & Conditions for Ticket Purchases

By purchasing a ticket for Crucible (“the Event”), you (“the Customer” or “you”) agree to the following terms and conditions:

 

1. Ticket Purchase & Confirmation

 

  • Your ticket purchase is confirmed upon receipt of payment and delivery of an electronic ticket or registration confirmation to the email address you provide.

  • Please ensure all information provided during purchase is accurate.

2. Non-Refundable Policy

 

  • All ticket purchases are final and non-refundable.

  • No refunds will be provided for cancellations, no-shows, or any other reason, except as required by Norwegian consumer protection law or the EU Consumer Rights Directive.

  • This policy is in accordance with Section 22(m) of the Norwegian Right of Withdrawal Act (“Angrerettloven”), which exempts tickets for leisure events (such as conferences) from the right of withdrawal.

 

3. Ticket Transfers

 

If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your ticket to another person by following the procedures stated on your ticket.

4. Event Changes and Cancellations

 

  • Crucible reserves the right to make changes to the Event’s date, time, location, program, speakers, or format at any time.

  • Crucible also reserves the right to cancel the Event at any time, for any reason.

  • If the Event is cancelled by Crucible, you will be notified as soon as possible. In the event of cancellation, you may be offered the option to transfer your ticket to a future Crucible event or another designated event. Refunds will only be issued if required by Norwegian law.

 

5. Admission

 

  • Entry to the Event requires a valid ticket and may be subject to identity verification.

  • Crucible reserves the right to refuse admission or remove anyone whose behavior is deemed disruptive or inappropriate.

 

6. Personal Data


By purchasing a ticket, you consent to the processing of your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

7. Limitation of Liability

 

  • Crucible is not liable for any loss, injury, or damage sustained at the Event, except where required by law.

  • Crucible is not responsible for travel, accommodation, or other costs incurred by ticket holders in connection with the Event.

 

8. Force Majeure

 

Crucible is not liable for any failure to perform its obligations under these terms if such failure is caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control (including, but not limited to, natural disasters, strikes, pandemics, or government actions).

9. Governing Law & Consumer Protection

  • These terms are governed by Norwegian law.

  • If you have questions regarding your rights as a consumer, or wish to file a complaint, you may contact the Norwegian Consumer Authority (Forbrukertilsynet): www.forbrukertilsynet.no.

  • Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Norwegian courts.
